New business intelligence (BI) projects for one of our logistics clients means we’ve expanded our team. The Information Factory is thrilled to welcome Iva Balatkova, a talented database developer and BI consultant.

Iva will be working on a global system that enables revenue forecasting through key indicators made visible via a detailed BI system.

Before joining The Information Factory, Iva was a data warehouse developer at a fintech startup, where she honed her skills under the mentorship of Vladimir Pirozek, a data specialist and full-stack developer who has been with us for a couple of years. She joins us after maternity leave, bringing expertise in Oracle, MongoDB and Vertica databases to support DHL.

Iva lives in Příbram in the Czech Republic, with her family, two cat and five hens. Outside of work Iva enjoys sewing and baking. She is currently perfecting the complex recipe for macarons, much to the delight of her family members who happily serve as tasters.
